SmackDown Rundown CM Punk Returns to Chicago

CM Punk Returns to Chicago

Mattered ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

CM Punk Chicago Flag

CM Punk Returns to Chicago. Props to CM Punk. As someone from Chicago, I love what he has done for Chicago. Chicago has always been known for its great crowds, but CM Punk made us a wrestling destination. Cm Punk returned to a hero's welcome until the Bloodline came out and tried to bully Cm Punk. Punk, of course, didn't back down, but Paul begged him to, and then he did the unthinkable. He asked CM Punk to save him from the Bloodline.

Paul Heyman CM Punk

I was going crazy. For those of you who don't know, CM Punk is a Paul Heyman guy behind the curtain and in front of it. Paul used to manage Punk, and if he switched to the CM Punk side, that would be a huge development. The Bloodline thought so to cause they went in to kick Cm Punks butt, but then Cody Rhodes ran in with bats and forced them to back down. Seeing Cody come out instead of Randy and Orton was strange, but it was nice. I'd love to see some brawl or match with AJ Bloodline Club vs. Street Profits, Kevin Owens, Randy Orton Cody, and CM Punk. Maybe Nia and Michin, too. This feud just goes so deep that you also have to remember Drew is involved, too. Plus, Heyman threw a jab at the Wyatts by saying the security could handle them but not the Samoans. I'd love to know how the Wyatts feel about that. Finally, SmackDown is getting interesting.

Michin vs. Bianca vs. Chelsea Green MITB Qualification Match

Mattered ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Chelsea Green wins

Incredible match. This perfectly demonstrated not only how talented the WWE wrestlers are but also that WWE has its finger on the pulse. These women put on a thrilling match that made the crowd chant this is awesome. However, Chelsea Green was getting tons of chants. She was going all out, and the fans appreciated it. However, in a match with Bianca Belair, there was no way she could win, right? Wrong Chelsea pulled off the shocking upset by throwing Bianca out of the ring after she hit Michin with the KOD. The crowd went wild. If you missed this match, it's definitely worth going back to.

Deep Dish Revenge

Mattered ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

Drew carried Cm Punk

A great twist, something you didn't see coming but is inevitable in retrospect. We should have seen this coming. CM Punk embarrased Drew in his homeland. So, of course, Drew returned the favor in Chicago. Drew went to Chicago to get him some Deep Dish Revenge. Drew treated Cm Punk like he was Black Panther, getting defeated in tribal combat and then getting thrown off a mountain. Drew beat CM Punk up til he was bleeding and unconscious, and then he picked up his bleeding carcass and carried it through the backstage area and to the ring and dumped him to the ground. It's as if Drew was saying is this your king?

Randy Orton vs. Carmelo Hayes vs. Tama Tonga MITB Qualifier

Mattered ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Carmelo Hayes

Wow, another beautiful upset. Randy Orton was dominating this match, hit a double rope DDT, and was about to RKO both of them for the win. He had the whole crowd behind him, and then Loa Tonga ran out, and Randy beat him up. Kevin Owen beat him up, and Randy dodged Tama Tonga, but Carmelo won with a rollup pin. I love this for Carmelo. He pinned a 14-time World Champion and is going to Money in the Bank, where he belongs, for a chance to win his world title.

Logan Paul, Santos, and LA Knight Meet-Up

Mattered ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

LA Knight promo

This segment was a good promotion for their upcoming triple-threat MITB qualifying match, but I have mixed feelings about it. Santos stole a promo segment with LA Knight where he called him a fanboy obsessed with Logan Paul. Then LA said he's beaten Santos every time, so he is looking past him. Then Santos attacked LA Knight and got beat up, and Santos even had the element of surprise. It made Santos look as weak as LA said he was. However, then Logan Paul came in and beat up LA Knight, who saved the segment by showing Logan around, and he's watching. Also, he did what Santos should have been able to do.

Andrade vs. Waller vs. Kevin Owens MITB Qualifier

Mattered ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.3

Andrade catches Waller

This match was sweet. Once again, I have to give WWE credit. All three of these guys are in different spaces on the card, but they have enough credibility that it feels like any of them could win. There were tons of great triple-man maneuvers, and each guy had a legitimate shot at winning. It looked like Kevin Owens would win, but Grayson took advantage of his injured leg and got rid of them. Then Grayson tried to flip into the ring and hit his finisher, but Andrade caught Waller in the air and reversed to his finisher. Andrade won and will be a great addition to the MITB match.

Solo Drops a Bomb

Mattered ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Solo cody Tonga

Paul Heyman told Solo that Roman said CM Punk and Cody were off-limits until he got back. Then Solo said Roman ain't coming back. Solo is rogue. He's invited his crew, and he could give a damn about Roman, and I Love the youthful exuberance. Solo is here to stay.

Jacob Fatu!

Mattered ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

Jacob spears Randy

Wow, if you were wondering what would happen if the Bloodline's enforcer had an enforcer, you got an answer. The Bloodline jumped Cody Rhodes, Randy, and Kevin even the Odds, and then Jacob Fatu came out and took out Universal Champion, a former Universal champion, a 14-time World champion, and he did it by himself. He crushed Kevin on the Steel Steps, put Randy through the barricade, and put Cody Rhodes through a table.

Reverse Hipster's Final Grade 96/100 A

Jacob jumps on Cody

This was such an upgrade from last week's SmackDown. SmackDown finally gave us storylines to look forward to. Plus, every storyline they explored this week hit an exciting peak. Keep
