The Raw RunDown: The Wyatt Sicks Debut

Seth Returns

Mattered ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Damian & Seth

Seth Rollins returned, and he wanted his world title back. He challenged Damian to be a man and be a real champion without Judgment Day. It was hard to take Seth Seriously, even though Seth tried to revise history and say that he grew a set and stood on his own two feet as champion. Seth used the authority in his first title reign until the day he lost it. I'm Glad Seth is back, but his return was pretty basic. I wish there was a more interesting angle for his return. A run-in during a Damian Priest Main Event Match would have been more impactful.

Gable vs. Braun Strowman

Mattered ⭐️⭐️⭐️.4

Otis attacked Gable

Braun beat Gable in a pretty entertaining match. Gable tried to use Alpha as a human shield, but Braun beat him anyway. After the match, Gable tried to punish Alpha Academy, and Otis finally stood up to him, knocked him down, and left with Alpha Academy. This was obviously a significant turn of events, but I was a little disappointed. I was hoping the group would heel before turning on Gable. I hope there is a swerve coming.

Iyo vs. Liv vs. Kiana James Money In the Bank Qualification

 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

IYO beats Kianna

These women were actually a lot closer in skill than most would expect. Kianna proved she should hang with the big girls, and Zelina almost pulled a huge upset and won. However, what goes around comes around, and last week, Zelina attacked Liv. So this week, Liv distracted Zelina by coming out in Dom's missing jacket. Kiana took out Zelina, and then IYO took down Kiana with the Over-The-Moonsault and secured her place in Money in the Bank. Can IYO win it again? Did Dom go to Liv's hotel room and leave his jacket?

Liv Leaving Her Mark

Mattered ⭐️⭐️⭐️.3

Liv Morgan Dom's jacket

Apparently, Finn Balor took the key card Liv offered Dominik. Damian questions him about it, and he says he did it for Dom. Finn claims he threw it away, but do we really believe nobody went to Liv's room? I certainly don't. Has Liv picked up another Judgment Day member to her side? Also, this segment introduced the question of whether Finn would cash in on Damian or not if he won Money In the Bank.

Sheamus Bron and Sami Threes Company

Mattered ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Smai Zayn Sheamus Bron Breakker

Oh hell, yeah, Bron and Sheamus have finally crossed paths. Sheamus has one last title to win, and Bron is in his way. Bron has his eyes on his first title, and Sheamus is in his way. They argued back and forth before Sami made a number-one contender match. These are two of the most hard-hitting individuals in WWE, and I've been waiting to see what would happen in a fight between them.

Drew McIntyre Quits

Mattered ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Drew McIntyre Quits

I Can't Believe it! Drew McIntyre was so fed up with Damian Priest that he just went in the ring and quit. He didn't give a long-winded speech; he just rage-quit. CM Punk broke him. Adam Pearce begged him not to on his way out, but you could see it in Drew's eyes—he was done. I'm still on the Edge of my seat for this CM Punk/Drew feud. Where will WWE go next?

Otis Breaks UP With Gable

Mattered ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

Gable sends Gable away

Otis officially says it. Alpha packed their bags and left the Academy. He told Gable they were done. Gable then pledged to get his revenge by having a hot Gable summer and winning Money and Bank and doing what Otis couldn't and cashing in.

Khayden Carter & Katana Chance vs. Dakota Kai and Sane

Mattered ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lyra Khayden Chance

Khayden and Katana got to display their skills and get a win. Damage Control looked strong but stupid. They had Carter and Chance beat, but Lyra came out to cheer on Carter and Chance, and apparently, that was so distracting. Kai just had to leave a certain victory to argue with Lyra, and that distraction cost her the match. This is relevant because it continues Lyra's feud with Damage Control.

Bron vs. Sheamus Kinda

Mattered ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

Bron Breakker Raw

Sheamus was actually kicking Bron's butt. However, Kizer came in and ruined the match just when Sheamus was about to win his finisher and win. Kizer started attacking Sheamus and his leg, and then Bron took that moment to get revenge on Sheamus and spear him. Then, just when it seemed like Kizer was about to destroy Sheamus's leg, Bron speared him before he reached Sheamus. It was awesome. Then Bron shoved Sami, and they had to be separated. Also, Dragonuv and Ricochet are somewhere in the background. There are so many agents of chaos in this title feud. I can't wait to see how this gets resolved. This is a thrilling feud so far.

Dom Get Caught With his Hands In The Liv Jar

Mattered ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dom get caught with Liv

Dom was backstage looking for his jacket when Liv sauntered up to in the jacket. Dom asked for it back, and Liv said he could have it back if he had taken it off her. Dom was hesitant, but then he started unzipping. I thought maybe Liv would have a crazy outfit underneath, but that wasn't the twist. The twist was that Damian turned down the hall and saw Dom unzipping Liv and yelled Dom! in his best Dad voice. I broke. I laughed so hard because it was as if Dom had been caught by his parents with a girl in his room. It looked so bad for Dom that you just have to laugh.

Damian Liv talk

Dom said he was just trying to get his jacket back, which is true, but it sounds like a lame excuse if you weren't there. After Dom left, Damian tried to get Liv to leave Dom alone, but Liv didn't listen. She continues to assert that Dom wants him some Liv. Rhea has got to be sick.

Rey Mysterio vs. Jey vs. Finn Balor Money In the Bank Qualifying Match

Mattered ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Jey jumps on Finn and Rey

This was a very exciting match. These three are all very talented and experienced vets, and they showed it in the ring. It seemed like Rey might win, but then Judgement Day, led by Dominik, came out and stopped him from winning before Braun chased them out. Then Finn Balor won the match when he hit Rey with the coup de grace, but then, as he was pinning Rey, Jey came off the top rope, splashed Finn, and pinned him to win the match.

Uncle Howdy and Wyatt Sicks Debut

What Mattered ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nikki Cross Sister Abagail

The Wyatt Sicks debut was awesome. His was a top tier debut. When Bray Wyatt's music hit it was emotional. It made no sense but for a second, an irrational thought passed through my mind. For a second it was like the WWE music would hit and Bray Wyatt would walk out and it would be like everything else never happened.

Wyatt Sicks

Obviously, that didn't happen. Instead, Nikki Cross crawled out like she was the woman from the ring. Then the camera went backstage, and we saw Bray's pig, Rabbit, Buzzard, and Uncle Howdy. Uncle Howdy and The Wyatt 6 turned WWE backstage into a house of horrors. The Crew and even the wrestlers were laid out and bleeding. Blood and darkness everywhere. Raw just got even more interesting.

Reverse Hipster's Final Grade 95/100 A

Wyatt Door

This was a phenomenal show. There were so many things to invest in on the show and in the future. For example, the Money in Banks Qualifying matches were superb, but they weren't even the main focus in the Vince era that would have been the whole show. Seth Rollins returned. The Wyatt 6 and Uncle Howdy debuted. We got more of the Liv Morgan and Judgment Day storyline and a budding new Women's feud. The Intercontinental title picture just got an explosive new feud, and Alpa Academy just broke up. This show was loaded with hit segments and matches.
